so last night and this morning where "one of those" kinds of days...i say last night because i was so exhausted, apparently because right after i put the baby down {both kids go to bed around 9pm}, i crashed on the couch while i was supposed to be watching "Dinner for Shmucks" with Tim. ;) around 11pm he woke me up to go to bed but i realized i hadn't done any of the night prep for the next day! i had to actuallly pump a couple more ounces because by Thursday my boobs kind of give up to the whole pumping 4x a day ordeal and go on strike mid week leaving me to pump more at home. SO, i pumped a few ounces, cleaned all his bottles, cleaned my pump parts, got my clothes ready for the next day. i was prepped by 11:30!
this morning i got up and things were going good, Aiden woke me up at 1:30am and 4:30am to eat {he went to bed a little earlier than normal}, i felt good, fed the baby then realized he got spit up on my work slacks. no biggie, it happens. i bend down to clean it off and realized that the ONLY good pair of work slacks that fit me right now have ripped the seam about 2 inches on my right pant leg!!!!!! i cried. it's probably from sleep deprivation and just the sheer fact that i only have ONE good pair of work slacks that fit, and my shirts all fit funny or i have to make sure they are "nursing/pumping" accessible...i'm limited on those too.
driving to work got me to thinking...cheer up. smile. you have a healthy, happy, smiley baby boy and a sweet, caring, loving little girl AND a hubby who cooks dinner every night for you and loves you {even when you fall asleep while spending time w/him}. i've got a good job. an awesome baby sitter. a God who loves me for ME. smile Melissa. life is not as horrible as it seems. :) you are the only person who can change your attitude today...so make the best of it!
i am soooo happy it's Friday. i look forward to the weekends even more now that i don't get to have a whole lot of "family" time during the week. the week days/nights are hectic to me. weekends are my time to relax {and clean} with my family. i have a photo shoot tomorrow too, so good creative outlet there. i get so amped up before/during/after a shoot, i love it! i'm excited and it's at a new location, so hoping it's a good one. ;)
Haylee made me laugh this morning too...which i love that about her. she can really get me going, God bless her. she was watching Aiden for me while i did my hair {age gap PLUS!} and they were both watching Full House. i said, oh i've seen that episode and she goes "oh, have you seen this show before?". i then told her i used to watch it when i was a kid. she looks at me and says "is it an old show?". HAAA HAA! thanks a lot Haylee. it made me laugh though...little stinker. kids are so funny!
ok, hope everyone has a great day! and an awesome weekend too. Happy birthday to my Mom today ♥
