mi vida loca...

i am starting to realize that blogging is a little more difficult than i thought with two small kids, a hubby, working full time, my photography biz and just everyday LIFE.  but i love it anyway.  i started a blog entry on parenting and things people don't tell you when you're pregnant {because i know A LOT of preggers right now!}, but i got bored with it and it was sounding like it was rambling {as if i don't do enough of that...} but i might tweak it and put it up, who knows.  ;) 

let's see...life is getting more managable i think now that we're all adjusting to our weekly schedule.  the weekend's are great when we don't have anything planned...because let's be real, our week is pre-planned and organized (organized chaos as i like to call it), so when there's not much going on during the weekend, it's rather nice! 

our weekly routine goes somewhat like this...

• Aiden wakes up to eat at 3am {knock on wood he's been going down at 8:45-9pm and waking up this one time to eat, yay!  i know it'll change now that i'm saying it outloud...LOL}
• i wake up at 5:30am to get ready for the day, shower...make up...hair all {hopefully} before the baby wakes up for the morning
• wake Haylee up at 6:30am to get ready for school, if i'm done getting ready myself i will wake the baby up to change and eat before i leave for work
• take Haylee to school at 7:15am, go to work (i have to be there by 8am but I get there early since i have to drop her off by 7:20)
• Tim takes Aiden to his baby sitter around 8am or so, Tim goes to the office/works out of the house
• then we switch...Haylee gets out of school at 2:05pm and 12:50 on Thursdays, Tim picks her up and does homework with her.  i get off work at 5pm, go straight to the sitter to pick up Aiden - get there around 5:20pm or so depending on traffic {there are so many stop lights on the way there!}
• Aiden and i get home around 6pm or so, Tim has already made dinner and sometimes him and Haylee have already eaten dinner.  i feed Aiden when i get home.  then i eat dinner.  then i get bottles ready for the next day, Haylee makes her lunch, we pick out ALL of our clothes for the next day, try to remember to put the coffee on the timer for the next morning, prep for next day, etc.
• by the time all of that is done i have Haylee shower, then give baby a bath, we all prep for bedtime.  start feeding Aiden again at 8pm, we all watch tv as a family until 8:45-9pm, then put the kids to bed
• sometimes i crash at 9:30pm watching our shows with Tim...sometimes i stay awake until 10pm...usually never past 10:30 though ;) 

so it's not AS crazy...unless i forget to do something or procrastinate {<--my middle name} then it can get a little hectic, but i try to do everything i can at night before bed so the mornings run smoothly.  :) 

life has been good though...Haylee is pretty self sufficient and the baby is just AWESOME.  he is sleeping better, he is taking bottles for the sitter and he is such a happy little boy, most of the time.  he loves taking baths and he is really only crabby when he gets out of the bath {it's cold!} and when he's hungry/sleepy.  he does like to be held and he loves to snuggle.  i think he's teething already, he always has his fists in his mouth and he's constantly drooling.  i cannot believe he will be 4 months old next Monday...wow, time flies.  i am hoping this weekend to do a photoshoot with the kids together...hopefully if the weather is nice and depending on both of their moods.  ;)  we shall see!  life is good...God is great.
