oh em gee.

it's almost FRIDAY! i'm flippin' excited! and it's not because i'm doing anything extra cool this weekend {except maybe seein' the movie "Up" with Haylee & Tim}...but my house is gonna get some deep cleanin' lovin'. :) oh yeeaaaah.

Tim actually mentioned hiring a maid {is that a nice word because i feel horrible calling anyone a "maid"...?} the other day, just once a month for a GOOD cleaning, the kind we fail miserably at (ha ha ha) and my heart just about skipped a beat! that would just be awesome. for many reasons...one i hate scrubbing toilets and showers {enough said right there!} and two i would much rather just spend my weekends doing happy things which do not entail cleaning anything. :)

but this weekend i'm excited to deep clean because we are getting ready for our annual neighborhood yard sale! before you roll your eyes and start laughing, this yard sale is NO JOKE. i'm actually considering taking pictures this year to prove it to you. last year was our 1st year to endure this type of yard sale. it's more like a neighborhood flea market/swap meet, if you will. it's flippin' HUGE. and people COOK for you. my sis-in-law and i walked three blocks and did nothing but EAT. :) i did buy some new shoes and some hand made jewelry last year too. i'm telling you...amazing and outrageous. last year we made a couple hundred dollars just selling our junk and this year will be no exception. we're hoping to make a good hundred or so to put toward our Hawaii trip this September. so i'm excited to see what treasures i find as i'm cleaning up the closets and the garage this weekend! can i get a cha-ching, cha-ching? JACK POT!
