in times like these i feel honored to be an American. i am free. freedom of speech is a powerful thing. you look outside and see the signs in the neighbors yards, the signs on every corner the constant phone calls through out the day of people voicing their opinions. you see individuals standing on the street corners holding signs "Yes on 8" or "No on 8", honk if you you're voting. beep beep.

in a way i'm anxious for the election to be over. i get nauseous just watching the news and hearing about the campaigns and harsh words and it really can get ugly, you know? i'm not sure if i can honestly say i'm that thrilled about either candidate this year, but i know definitely who i am voting for. this election i have educated myself and i have read up on all of the propositions and i'm fairly confident what i'm voting on each one. i'm not voting blindly. of course taking all things into consideration, i get nervous thinking of who the next President is going to be and the effects it'll have on the country. it's really scary if you think too intently on it, yea? trying not to.

i know that whatever will happen will happen and it is written that soon the time will come for us to know it all. yup, i'm going to put it out there and say that i feel that my vote is a vote that is not going to win this time but i'm actually not too distraught because i know who is in control. God. and whatever is written will come to pass and i know where my future lies. :) i have complete faith in knowing HE will have my back. God rocks.
