{THANKS}giving

i'm so incredibly BLESSED as i sit here and think of what i am THANKFUL for. i have so many many things to be thankful for actually. i would like to take a moment to thank GOD for these things...

...my God's grace - without HIS grace i would have nothing at all. thank you God for your loving grace and being there for me when it feels like no one else is. you have never failed me, even though through human nature and flaw i fail you every day. i love you and want to try to live by faith.

...my husband - Tim and i have really grown up together, being we got married as teenagers without a clue. :) to get married so young and still be so in love and respect each other, it's only by God's grace, but i thank God for putting Tim in my life. he is really someone i look up to and admire for many reasons. we are complete opposites and i love it.

...my daughter - growing up and even when i got older i never wanted kids. i never thought i was "equipped" enough to have kids meaning i didn't think i would be able to give a child everything he/she needed for some reason {yes, i have issues, lol}. God really planted a seed in my heart after a few years of Tim and i being married. i actually wanted to become a mother and even though i was {am} scared to death of being "in charge" of another human beings LIFE, i live by FAITH that we are raising Haylee to be everything God intended her to be. and trust and believe this child has really led me to a lot of healing and new horizons! she is a God-send. at times i feel like i don't know what i am doing, but we pull through and she is just turning out to be something pretty amazing. i love Haylee more than anything - i didn't know my heart could love like this. i don't think you truly understand until you have kids {which means...yes...your mom was/is right when she says that...ha ha!}.

...my job - ok i know i complain at times {trust me, for good reason} BUT, with the economy as it is right now i am truly THANKFUL to have a job. i see a lot of people getting laid off and i just think about the homeless. really, we are ALL just a couple of steps away from living out on the street. don't think it can't happen to you, because it can. be thankful and gracious for what you do have, even if it's not much or even if you cannot stand it at times.

...my home - i really like the home we're renting right now, although i know soon it will not be ours anymore {technically it's not ours, but it feels like home}. i thank God for our "landlords"...Ann's family, German is the sweetest person and i know where Ann gets it from. they have been the best to rent from. i'm really going to miss them next year, but happy we will be buying our first home! :) {prayerfully we will be at least!} i'm thankful to have a roof over my head {and the pool/jacuzzi is nice too...ha ha}.

...my freedom - although it seems like times are a'changing REALLY soon with Obama coming into the picture, right now i am thankful for freedom. i know that these are the end times we are living in and this whole new liberal style of living will be coming into play soon enough and although i am not for it, i am all for having faith and putting my thoughts and trust in the Creator of this world. we all know the ending and things are lining up just right for it to happen. we all might see Christ's return in our lifetime, who knows. but i do know that we are free. we can go where we want, do what we want to do and it's amazing. our forefathers fought for that. i pray no matter WHO is in presidency, we never forget that.

...my friends - lately i have really been thankful for friends. i try to be a good friend and be there for my friends and it's just great to socialize and get together with friends. i call them my support system. :) i have a few close friends who are always there for me, no matter what. i really appreciate you all and i love you dearly.

and last but certainly NOT least...

...my family - through thick and thin, through good and bad, through better or worse. my family has been there for me. some more than others, but all the same i love them all. some are close and some are far away. i haven't seen some of you in a very long time and i hope this new year changes all that. i pray i can see you all really soon. thankfully Tim's family all live so close, we see them quite often. sometimes we have spats and get on each others' nerves {as family quite often can do, lol} BUT, we are all family. it will always remain, we love each other no matter what. i know that i have been through a lot of things with my family and i have not always agreed with them and don't always understand them...but they are my family and i am thankful i have them. God put these people in my life for a reason and i may not see it now or through the storms but He has an ultimate plan for me. i will love them unconditionally. thanks family for being there for me and loving me even if i have failed you or even if i haven't lived up to your expectations. i love you so so SO much...all of you.

i hope you all take time to consider and thank God for what you have been blessed with. in all things give thanks.

Psalm 69:30
I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with THANKSGIVING.
