For Mrs. J & Mindy

My GM this morning reminded me of them today. Please pray for Mrs. J (Mindy's Mom) as she has her 1st chemotherapy treatment today. Keep them lifted UP in prayer...thank you.

Dear Melissa,

Sometimes our burdens seem more than we can bear, and we wonder how we will ever get through them.

Now in times like that always remember that our Heavenly Father is closest to us for: THE LORD IS NEAR TO ALL THAT CALL ON HIM. HE WILL FULFILL THE DESIRE OF THOSE WHO FEAR HIM; HE ALSO WILL HEAR THEIR CRY AND SAVE THEM. ( PSALM 145:18-19 )

So never feel that you must face those times alone, for God loves you, and is with you, all of the time! After all our Heavenly Father is: GRACIOUS AND FULL OF COMPASSION, SLOW TO ANGER AND GREAT IN MERCY. THE LORD IS GOOD TO ALL, AND HIS TENDER MERCIES ARE OVER ALL HIS WORKS. ( PSALM 145:8-9 )

Therefore Melissa, when you feel the pressure of one of life's burdens, and feel that it is more than you can bear, ask for God's help. For He is ready to lift you up and bear your burdens for you! After all it is written: THE LORD UPHOLDS ALL WHO FALL, AND RAISES UP ALL WHO ARE BOWED DOWN. ( PSALM 145:14 )

Finally Melissa, remember the words of our Savior Jesus Christ, for He said: "COME TO ME, ALL YOU WHO LABOR, AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. Sweet Rest Indeed my friend! Amen. ( MATTHEW 11:28 )
