colorado.

 

tim and i took a trip to colorado.  i think most of my blog followers know by now that we are seriously considering relocating to this amazing state.  personally, i had only driven through denver {i may have been there as a kid, but i truly don't remember} once in the pounding snow, so this trip was just an adventure for us to see how much we would like the great state of colorado.  i thought it was simply beautiful.  i have NEVER seen a state more beautiful than colorado.  it was awesome!  

my favorite things about the state are this....{i am a list person therefore i will list my likes}

• everyone...no matter where you go in colorado is NICE!  i couldn't get over the hospitality and kindness.  people said 'thank you' when you did a kind gesture, if you smiled at someone they would actually smile in return - sometimes you just forget that people can be so nice, it was very refreshing to me.

• clean - everywhere you go it's super CLEAN.  i don't think i saw a dirty neighborhood {minus parts of denver} at all.  no trash on the side of the roads, it was very sanitary there, that really caught my eye.

• the BLUEist skies and GREENist grass/mountains i have ever seen - the cloud formations were BREATHtaking, just incredible.

• the homes in colorado are twice as big and cost twice less the price in colorado than they do here in california - and the homes are GORGEOUS.  

there's so much more that i cannot think of right now due to the lack of sleep i had in the past few days.  it was a whirlwind of a trip, but it was a very great trip because it was super informative.  i think we have a very good idea of what we will do - but i won't blog about that just yet.  ;)  mostly because we haven't worked out any of the details, just going to leave that part up to GOD.  He knows what is best and He will guide us through.  :)
