we are for eachother: then laugh, leaning back in my arms for life's not a paragraph. --ee cummings

ok, i think i can do this...

yesterday wasn't as bad as i thought it would be with leaving the baby and the whole working/nursing/pumping thing.  i mean, it's only day two but so far so good for now.  i did go home today {despite the horrible rainy/windy/yuckness outside today} to see my baby and feed him.  he seems to really like that, i guess it's a good transition for him, although come next week he will be getting 3-4 bottles a day, so hopefully he does fine with that.  we shall see!  he seems to be taking to the bottle a little easier, so that is a relief.  not that i think he would starve...ha ha!

i think being a part makes seeing him that much  more special.  our bonding time is really nice.  i think i'm going to like being back to work, although i miss my baby terribly.  he {and his sister} are my life!  i'm hoping we can get into a somewhat easier routine as far as sleep goes though...i put him down to bed at 9pm and he wakes up to eat anywhere from 11:30 to 2:30am...then he will wake up again around 2am (if he woke up at 11:30 the first time) or 4:30am (if he woke up around 2:30) and then i get up to pump once before i go to work at 5:30am...he wakes up twice only on a good night...sometimes he'll wake up 3 times.  aaaah...makes getting up going to work hard!  i crashed on the couch at 9:30pm {no joke} last night!  :)  poor Tim is a night owl, so he likes to stay up and chat...well i'm about dead by that time.  i just hope the times are more consistent so i know what to expect every night...but yea right, try telling that to a 3 month old.  ;)  i guess that's what i get for nursing him...but oh well.  i'm lovin' it.  so glad it's working out for this baby because it didn't work out with Haylee.

speaking of Haylee...i think she is beyond bored with this holiday vacation stuff!  at least she's been going to friends' homes and hanging out, change of scenery.  ;)  tomorrow she's going to go to a concert with her cousin and spend the night at her house, that will be fun for her.  she is such a great helper with Aiden and just a sweet little girl.  i could not have asked God for a better kid!  praying she stays this way forever, ha!  she has such a tender heart for God.  she was SO excited about taking her first communion on Christmas eve.  it was so very special!  i got choked up just praying with her.  i'll always remember that moment.  she wants to get "bapatized" soon too, so i'm going to look into that and see when our church does their next baptisms - i know they don't do them every weekend.  she actually is required to take a "class" before she gets baptized to make SURE she understands what it means and makes sure she understands that she must be saved before she is baptized.  i believe she gets it, so we'll see.  ;)  my little girl is just growing, growing, growing!  so thankful for her.  she is such a beautiful girl...inside and out.

ok...well better get going...oh before i do i just wanted to give a shout out to my awesome hubby Tim.  he knew i needed a "work appropriate" coat and since this sunny California weather has been less than sunny lately, he bought me a nice jacket/coat for work!  :)  isn't he great?  i love love LOVE him.  he's always so good to me, even when i'm not deserving of it.  and yes, i know sometimes i am hard to love!!  especially lately with all of the stress i'm putting on myself.  ha ha!  thanks honey...you know i love you SO much.
