well this borrowed computer (laptop) sometimes has a little mind of it's own. ;) last night i was tryin' SO hard to blog, but it wouldn't let me, so so sad. i feel like i have so much to say!
anyway i have been really into my new Bible lately. in fact i'm on Luke chapter 6 tonight. i can't wait to see what i learn and i just love writing my thoughts in my journal i got for Christmas. it's so relaxing and it's a great release for me. in my journal i can say anything and i love love LOVE that. i forgot how much i missed actually writing things down. i am a very visual person so writing things down, for me, things come to life. :)
sometime in Jan i will be starting back up on the women's Bible study too. i'm excited about that! i love the group of girls i've grown close and will soon grow even closer to.
let's see...this week has been somewhat slow at work, just trying to stay focused. i'm no longer online during the day, so in case you don't see me on facebook, you know why. this year our team's goal is FOCUS and i plan on doing just that. i am blessed to just have a job with everything that's going on all around us and this economy slowly going under...so sometimes and lately i've been taking that for granted. but not anymore, i'm going to work with my head down and hard and keep on pluggin' away! praise God for my job. it may not be what i want to do with my life (God KNOWS it's not!) but at least i have it and i get paid really good for it.
as for photography...my heart aches for it, of course. but i'm just waiting ever so patiently for my beloved camera. i think i'll be getting it in February now.
today me and my friend ol' buddy ol' pal Steph went to H&M at lunch break to look for something for her. well we ran into some massive sales. i was smart and didn't have my purse with me at the time, but i thought about those deals tonight and Tim and i went over to see if there were any work pants there for me (can never have enough of those). i suddenly remembered how much i LOVE H&M! i got not one, but TWO pairs of work trouser pants for $20. (so $10 each) they are NICE ones too, originally priced at $35 each. yahooo!!! i love a good deal. score for me!
right now i'm multi-tasking...i'm baking a chocolate cake with my homemade butter cream frosting for New Year's Eve tomorrow night. we're having a few friends over and making pizzas and having a few martini's and just a low key night. :) should be fun!
