ChErRy PaRk...

today Haylee and I went to Cherry Park, which is just a nice big park behind our neighborhood. it's so pretty there, lots of trees and grass and area to run and play. there is also a neat looking bridge...which i love pictures of kids/people on bridges, it's so cool. so i asked Haylee to have a little photo shoot so i could practice my photography. i'm really working it with my Kodak Easy Share camera so that when i get a DSLR, i'll be more than ready!! hopefully it'll be my Christmas gift. ;)

anyway we had a lot of fun, we were out there for over an hour just playing outside. in California one of the biggest complaints (usually from people outside of California too, lol) is that you don't really have a yard. well...we do. but let me just say that even if we didn't, we wouldn't need one, there are SO many nature trails, basketball courts, tennis courts, community pools and practically a park on every corner! not to mention, hello....the beach. ;) trust me, we get enough outdoorness out here in our lovely state.

i took about 80 photos and did a pretty good job...i put about 30 of them on an album on facebook in case you are interested in seeing the whole album. i know i'm bad about putting them up here...sorry about that - it takes a lot of time to download them to a photo host and then copy/paste them on here. ;) so i just do facebook because it's easier.

we had a pretty good start to the morning too (i know i'm blogging backwards now, ha ha!). Haylee had her soccer pictures done at 8:15am this morning. it was too early to be up on a Sunday morning. thankfully we opted to go to church last night, which was a good call because we weren't done until after 9:00am and by that time we were tired and cranky. ;) but all in all i think her pictures are going to come out GREAT! some of the other moms had really GREAT DSLR camerasj {jealous...} so they were taking single pics of the girls which i thought was GREAT!

ok gotta go grill some burgers and dogs now...have a super fabulous week everyone. :)
