i went a step further AND i thought i'd make Haylee some pretty hair accessories. :) i used to make her bows ALL of the time {if you knew me back then you know that about me}. i loved it. it was so much fun. she went through a phase were she didn't want bows anymore {made me so sad} and now she's back in the phase were it's ok! i think because it's so short she wears it down and a bow over to the side, so it's not too much. here is Haylee in a set of bows i made back in the day...
gosh it feels like forever ago! {she was probably 4 in this picture...so almost 2 years ago!} yup, we liked big beauuuutiful bows back then. ;) but she's not a baby anymore so i am getting creative again and i have all of these bow making things {i was really into it a few years ago} and so i found these funky buttons...i have them in all colors. great thing about being so artsy is i have all of this stuff on hand. :) so i glued some buttons to some barrettes and came up with little cutesy hair clips. i hope they work...but i think they look cute!
i know Haylee will love them anyway. buttons. hmm. who would've thought? :) me!
well tomorrow i have the day OFF from work, yes! i am keeping Haylee home with me {she wasn't that excited at first, i had to bribe her with the pool, LOL! she LOVES school!}. we are going to my work to show off Haylee and to take one of my friends out to lunch for her birthday. Haylee is really excited about that too, she drew all of my friends {i told her who would be going to lunch with us} a picture with their names on it! too cute!! she is the best kid ever i promise. :)
i'm excited for my 3 day weekend. maybe i will get some stuff ready for the yard sale my community is going to have in July. maybe i'll make some money off my junk. who knows! have a great day!!
