my last entry was about my baby boy...now i'd like to take a moment to talk about my shining star!
my daughter Haylee has made me smile everyday from the moment she was born. we decided to start a family at the tail end of our military enlistment and the moment we were pregnant with Haylee i opted out. i just knew i would'nt have the guts to leave my baby when they decided to send me {alone} to another country. she was born in Ogden, Utah and has been my world ever since!!
this little girl is gonna change the world one day! she has natural talent and can keep adults entertained for hours. :) she loves drama {the performing arts kind}, singing\music, art, talking on the phone and she's very very much into fashion these days. she even starts little 'trends' amongst her little friends. it's so funny! Haylee is into playing fall soccer with the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and is a Brownie in Girl Scouts. she has been itching to start up her performing arts school again with either a singing or acting class...we shall see. i just want to make sure she is focused on her school work at the same time. ;) her favorite subjects are reading, art and recess (her words!).
she's just a very well mannered {not trying to toot my own horn here...ahhh!} and is loved by all of our adult friends! even the ones who don't have kids, ha ha! they love her because she's awesome. :)
Haylee's most recent award she's earned was the Character Award from her 3rd grade teacher and classmates. always caring about others, lending a helping hand, being kind...those are all qualities Haylee practices everyday...and i must say, even at home! she is EXCELLENT with Aiden, her baby brother. and he adores her, smiles every time he sees his big sis! she is a big help to me, that is for sure. don't know how i'd do it without her.
i have to say...my {not so} baby girl has really grown into a shining star...love her with ALL of my heart, soul and might. i'm so proud of you Haylee Gabrielle!
