too much to say

isn't it typical that when you have too much to say, it is harder to blog? that always seems to be the case for me. i have too much to talk about and i never know where to begin. quite the dilemma! so i guess i tend to ramble and feel so random, but whatever. it's my blog, i can do whatever i please.

i think i'll highlight some topics i've been meaning to talk about and we'll go from there...lol.

photography - this has been booming for me. i mean it's unreal. i am learning so very much too. i can't say that i don't get extremely nervous before each shoot - but i can honestly say that i feel so much more confident after each shoot. the images i produce just make me SO happy. i really feel excited when my clients see my work and they are satisfied. i'm starting to gain respect for my work and get referrals as well. i can't wait until i do this full time. it's my dream and my passion and i love it so much. everywhere i go now i see potential in all things - so that's exciting for me as well. i'm pretty much booked with 1-3 shoots a weekend. i haven't even had time to do a photo shoot with Haylee recently! i need to do that soon though, i want to get some good images of her for her 7th birthday.

Haylee - wow, where do i begin? not sure if i'm supposed to blog about her or the sad, bittersweet feeling that has overcome me the passed few weeks. my little girl {no longer a baby} is just growing leaps and bounds. she's like a miniature adult now. it makes me sad but at the same time super excited to see the little person she has become. i am so very proud of her. she is honestly the best kid ever. she is very well mannered, LOVING & caring, smart, beautiful...the momma list goes on. ;) in a few short weeks she will be turning 7 years old. you don't even know how old that makes me feel. i just want to know where in the world has the time gone? i have a feeling i will still be saying that in events to come...her high school graduation, her wedding, etc. it baffles me. i try to take every moment with her and cherish it. but i feel sometimes like i don't DO enough. it's the guilty mom feeling i guess (the guilty WORKING mom feeling). i can't explain how much i love her - it goes beyond love and i think you don't understand this feeling until you have children. :)

ok...enough mushy because i've said my piece. Haylee is great. she's super excited to be going into the 2nd grade! she enjoys reading, drawing, writing stories, playing with her dog Miley, playing her V-tech games, learning to swim and just haning out with the family. she is more socialble now than ever. we were at a wedding last weekend and the table we were sitting at were mainly people from my work. she was going around giving everyone back massages and just talking talking talking and dancing. wow, this girl can DANCE! i don't know where she got that from since neither Tim nor i dance. ;) we are planning her big 7 year birthday party for August 22nd (the day before her bday). it is SpongeBob Luau themed pool party! already she has almost 20 kids attending, crazy!? it'll be so much fun. she doesn't know this yet, but she is getting a Nintendo DS for her birthday. she has been asking for one for a few months now. so we figured that would be a nice gift for her. Tim picked up a few games for her - a veterinarian game and i believe a SpongeBob game. she will be so excited!

let's see - i think that's about all for now. Tim is doing well with his job, keeping steady pace. my job is going well so far too. so far, so good! Tim and i are planning our trip to Colorado in early September and we are SO excited for that. cannot wait! we're also planning a weekend in Vegas for our 10 year anniversary. :) yipeee...more updates on that the closer we get to next month. {ah, can't believe it's already August!}

thanks for reading...i don't think i was too random. xoxo
