random.

tonight i have plans with my little girl. we're going shopping for the products to make cutesy little tea sandwiches for her 1st grade tea party tomorrow. she is over the clouds excited for this tea party {she had one last year too, same teacher}. to keep it simple i think we'll just stick with bologna and cheese. i was thinking of doing sunbutter and jelly {there's a kid allergic to peanuts in her class}, but figured some kids might be picky. Haylee is not a picky eater and she loves to try all sorts of foods, but i understand most kids aren't like her. ;)

this is the random part. at work, on the same floor of our building {i think there's 15 floors, maybe 14} there is a law firm. this sweet lady, always bubbly and nice and talkative is always chatting with the girls up front {including me}. a few months ago i found out that she is my neighbor! she lives literally a block from my house and her kid goes to Haylee's school. so starting tomorrow Dee and i will be walking 5-6 miles at 5am! :) we're only going to do this a couple days a week, but i'm super excited. yeah! i've been missing my walking buddy since Shannon and i stopped walking a few months ago. i'm excited! i love walking and having a buddy.

only a few more minutes of this slow day....yipeee!
