is it the weekend yet?

i think i am still in vacation mode. i can't snap out of it! it's nice because i came back to a quiet office with my partners {whom i support} on vacation. soooooo...needless to say it's been quiet and slow which is fine for this upcoming holiday 3 day weekend. ;) yeah!

i feel in a funk this week. do you ever feel like isolating yourself from your friends? i'm definitely feeling pretty distant lately. trying not to be, but i am. i think i'm focusing more on my family...sometimes i get so wrapped up in other people's thoughts and lives that i forget about my own. so it was so nice to have that week off with Haylee and Tim was with us for a few of those days and it was just bliss! we talked and laughed and had so much fun together. i think it was then that i finally realized, it doesn't matter...nothing else matters. i love my family so much!

i can't believe it's almost July. from July until the end of the year it seems we have holiday and event after event planned. SO much is happening so fast. :) it kicks off with the big 4th of July party we have at our place...August is Haylee's 7th birthday party...September is start of soccer for Haylee and our 10 year wedding anniversary {add some traveling this year to that list!}...October is Tim's 29th birthday then Halloween...November is MY 30th {gasp!} birthday, then Thanksgiving...December of course is Christmas and all of the hoopla that entails. :) crazy i tell you, but awesome none the less.

i love planning for these events and things and i can't wait to do some traveling with my honey this year. 10 years, wow! silly as it sounds, it doesn't seem THAT long ago. we were both teenagers and so excited with a passion for life and we are honestly still that way! a passion for life. i am excited to see where the next 10 years takes us. we don't always do things text book style, but we love our style and we do love each other. :)

ok...well i'm completely bored and nothing else to really blog about. oh but i would like to give a shout out to my sweet brother-in-law Al Seaman!!!! HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY big brother! ;) you know, soon i will be right there too. we're getting OLD Al! ha ha! i hope your day is great...i know you don't read my blog but Liz does...Liz read this to Al. hope you enjoy your yummy cake my sis made you. wish we could be there to celebrate with you guys. love you!!!!
