the latest happenings.

i haven't blogged in a week!  yikes!  there is so much going on lately that i haven't really been online like i usually am.  ;) 

let's see - with me work has been CRAZY busy since i got back from my vacation i can't seem to get caught up because our word processor is on a 2 week vacation and i am stuck doing all of her work.  i can't get any of my work done!  it's pretty crazy i tell you.  and when all four of the partners that i assist are in the office it just gets a little over the top for me.  i am blessed to have a job - but i am about to pull out my HAIR this week {and probably next too}.  :)  i am also back up receptionist so when she goes to lunch it's me up there for an hour and i typically can't get anything done when the phones are ringing.  so i guess this ended up in a mini-vent, but at least i am happy to have job security for the time being!  i am just SOOOOO glad the weekend is here, finally. 

our pool was just re-done - which is NICE because it was cracked and chipped in the bottom and everytime we'd swim we would all get blisters.  especially Haylee, she would come out all bumped and bloody {gross!}.  they just got done plastering it and tiling it today - it looks AWESOME!  i can't wait to go swimming in it now!  Tim and i half heartedly joke when we say we're going to heat up the pool this fall/winter just to use our "new" pool.  it's great!! 

Haylee is loving the 2nd grade so far.  so far so good and she LOVES school.  it's so nice to see her loving it {wonder how long that'll last!}.  yesterday she made 100% on her spelling test so we took her to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" in 3D.  she loved it!  it was a cute movie.  this year we didn't put Haylee into any sports or anything - but we're definitely going to take her back to singing class and maybe a hip-hop dance class her Performer's Academy is now offering.  she really would like to do cheerleading - but i think we may have missed sign ups for that...i need to check into it!  :)  she's doing great though!

well i think i better go - just being a lazy Saturday {i love it} - going to church tonight then grilling up some burgers.  it's been a great day!
