10 years ago :)

10 years ago on September 11, 1999 i married the LOVE of my life.  :)  i know what you are thinking...if you're sitting there doing the math - i was 19 years old {he was 18!} at the time.  it was before our birthdays so i was turning 20 in November and he was turning 19 in October.  still - how do you know as a teenager WHO the love of your life is?  i have only one answer and it's....God.  

over the years we have discovered that without God our relationship would be null and void.  He is the ROCK that holds us together.  we love each other MORE today than we did 10 years ago.  we have practically grown up together {because no matter what you think, you aren't "grown" when you're a teenager}.  we've been through so much together, good AND bad times.  it's amazing to look back and realize how much we've changed.  i know that a relationship like ours is rare.  i hear it all the time and i feel incredibly BLESSED that we have each other!  

i think it's true that opposites attract because that is what we are - complete opposites.  :)  i wouldn't have it any other way though...we balance each other out JUST perfectly. 

Tim is such a great motivator for me.  he has shown me that it is imperative that you follow your DREAMS and there is nothing you cannot do if you just try.  sure, you may fail, but you cannot fail unless you try.  he has helped me gain the confidence in myself that i desired to have.  he has been there for my every tear {and there have been many!  i don't think anyone understands me the way he does actually}.  he has been there for most of the joyous moments in my life.  he is patient with me.  he is forgiving when i do dumb things {disclaimer:  sometimes it takes a while to calm him down, like when i put a 12 inch dent in the side of our car....hee hee, but understandably so i suppose}.  he loves me for me.  and he STILL thinks i'm hot.  ;)  he is the BEST daddy ever to our precious little girl Haylee and he will be the best daddy ever to our next child also {nope, not pregnant - so don't get your hopes up!}.  i know he stands true to our vows of forever.  as i do to him.  

so here's to our next 10 years...may they be as interesting, fun, wild and free as the first 10!
