time flies!

wow...ok so i've been slacking on my bloggin.  i apologize but honestly i don't have much time to get online anymore!  i get on facebook on my cell phone, usually when i'm feeding the baby or at work on my lunch break.  but i try, i try, i know i have to keep you updated on my happenings.  ;)

today baby Aiden is four months old...can you even believe it?  i know, wow time flies.  everyday i look at him and swear he's grown more than the day before...kids grow right before your very eyes, don't blink because you'll miss it!  it's true!  i used to think that was the cheesiest saying, until i had kids.  now i know, it's for reals!  here's a pic of my sweet baby boy...

isn't he getting so big?  let's see...he went to the pediatrician on tuesday...his stats are this (four month stats):

height:  25 inches
weight: 16.4 lbs {doc says that's about what a 6 month old should weigh...hee hee}

yup, that is mama's milk alone, some powerful stuff i tell you!  ;)  his dr. doesn't want him starting solids until at least 6 months of age because he is {obviously} getting everything he needs from me.  yay!  i hate to toot my own horn here, but i am super proud of myself for sticking out breastfeeding.  this is my first time really doing it since Haylee had issues with it, so i was so nervous but glad he loves it and i'm loving it now too.  it is NOT easy.  but it has awesome benefits.  i like it so much more than bottle feeding, it's more conveinent, not to mention cheaper.  the pumping part stinks...i have to pump 3x at work and sometimes if he's going through a growth spurt i have to pump 1-2 more times at home.  but lately i've been able to keep up with him, so i'm happy for that.  i think when we do start solids i am going to start him off with either oatmeal cereal or sweet potatoes...a little bit different than that binding rice cereal.  anyway...so yup, that's the AJ update.

Haylee is doing good - we have started her on a reward system to keep her focused because she is so artsy and flighty {hmm don't know where she gets that from, ha ha!} that it's hard for her to focus...but we're working on it and she's doing a good job so far.  she's currently selling those evil Girl Scout cookies...so if you are interested, please let me know!  she really wants to get into dance, so hopefully soon we will work on that.  again, she's so great with Aiden...they just adore each other.  i am so glad we have the age gap!  it keeps ME sane and i think i'd go postal if i had two babies....God knew what He was doing here...*wink*

i think i mentioned this on fb, but i am back down to my pre-pregnancy clothes!!  sooooo exciting because now i have more choices of clothes to wear.  i am going to start doing Pilates {at home/dvd} and probably some other work out videos in the evening time and on weekends i will be walking and hiking.  going to get a nice body just in time for bathing suit season.  yipeeee!

ok...i think that's about it for now, my brain is about fried, i've had a heck of a week...lots of ups and downs but i am soooo ready for the weekend.  we are cleaning tomorrow morning...then Haylee is going to a sleep over birthday party at a friend's.  then Tim, Aiden and i are going to our friend Shannon's house for dinner...can't wait to see Shanny again!  it's been a long time.  Sunday is Superbowl....woot woot.  i think we don't care who wins, but rooting for the Packers since our Packer friend Nate will be coming over for a little SB partay.

have a fabulous weekend all....oh and a shout out to my handsome nephew Noah De Mers...today is his birthday...happy birthday dude!
