well well well, look who's back?! i have NO idea when i'll find the time to blog...but i feel like i will force myself to take some time. even if it's during aiden's 2am feeding. ;) i love this creative outlet & frankly, i'm pretty sick of facebook. kind of lame that i don't really feel like i have to talk to my friends & family anymore since i read their daily {hourly?} status updates. i think the same goes for me. there was a time {and i still have those moments} where i was pretty addicted! i hate that feeling. i'd rather be addicted to putting my thoughts {and not my actions} down on "paper"...guess what, i don't even care if people read it and "like" it or "comment" on it! :) just makes ME feel better. who knows, maybe i might say something smart along the way. ha! doubt it, but you never know.
since it's MY blog, i don't feel like i need to catch you up on my life...i'll just start from today & we'll go from there. oh that's right you probably know everything about my life since i was on facebook anyway! riiiiight.
well {as you probably know?} my mom & dad are here visiting from St Louis! today the rain finally stopped so we got to walk to one of our fav breakfast joints, Bagels n' Brew. yum. i got an egg bagel w/butter & a nice hot coffee. i love coffee. i actually had 3 cups of it today! bad bad bad. but oh well, my healthy eating & exercising plan doesn't begin til' jan 1st {along with everyone else in this world vowing to lose weight in 2011!}. so there. we later took a walk to Starbucks, oh that's right....scratch that, i only indulged in 2 caffeinated beverages today. at SB i got a caramel apple spice & it was oooooh soooooo delish! {love}
the rest of the day was spent indoors...i have massive cabin fever but tomorrow is very promising for some outdoorsiness {<--made up word}. we will be going to the 1pm Christmas eve church service, i'm very excited for my 'rents to visit my church! then we will be doing {i will be shooting} a photo shoot with my 'rents & the grandkids tomorrow...either the beach or grand park, we shall see what we feel up to when the moment comes. then we bake. Christmas eve, i can barely BELIEVE it!
i have to throw in here that i'm super sad to be starting work again next week...12 weeks went by WAY too fast. the fastest 12 weeks of MY LIFE i tell you. it's NOT going to be easy leaving my baby boy every day. in fact i think i'll cry. i told myself i wouldn't but let's be real. it's sad! pray for me! i start work next tues, Dec 28th. mixed feelings, but thankful to have a job in this economy. :)
ok....i'm happy to be back...i would never be able to fit all of this in a facebook status! *grins*

I absolutely love your blog!!!!! This has really inspired me to maybe doing my own. After reading some of your older blogs it has shown me how much we(and our daughters) really are alike. I am a total control freak, and patience may be a virtue, but unfortunately not one of mine. Doing school work with Skylar is like pulling teeth at times and more then a few tears have been shed on both sides. She too enjoys doing things at her own pace...which is no where near mine. I was also induced with Skylar since she was a week late and it still took her 22hrs to get the point it was time to come into this world. She walked late, potty trained late.....but just like Haley was talking very well very young. it's like they were twins seperated at birth...lol! I have people tell me all the time they can't believe she is only 8, she has such an adult way about her. How she carries herself and her ability to converse with adults. most of this comes from being an only child and being around mostly adults. However, the eight year old drama is right on que....everything is big and dramatic and she lovessssss the limelight so to speak.
Anyway, I can't wait to read more of your blogs....maybe one day soon I will start my own and share with everyone as well.
So happy your back sis!!
Love you!
